Kannada actor Shri Mahadev, who recently appeared in Just Pass, has decided to change his name to Shree Ram. Explaining his decision, Shree said, "Originally, my name was Shri Mahadev, but people called me Shri or Mahadev because that's my father's name. I then shortened it to Shri, but some felt it was incomplete, so I have now changed it to Shree Ram."

Currently, Shree is involved in preparing for his role as a farmer in his upcoming film, Rukmini Vasantha. He shared, "The movie does not focus on agricultural issues but rather explores the theme of love deeply rooted in our culture. Instead of traditional workshops, I spent a month in a village in Mandya, waking up early to milk cows, tend to the land, and even learning to wear a lungi. This hands-on experience, including growing vegetables that I brought home, was a rewarding and enriching experience."

Reflecting on his career, Shree mentioned, "After six years in the industry, I am now seeking roles that challenge me and push me beyond my comfort zone. I want to showcase my versatility as an actor and explore characters that are different from myself."
